Volvo V60 Plug-in, rechargeable wagon
Volvo has selected plug-in lithium batteries for the new V60 wagon. It is not only a car battery in motion, but also from a home outlet.
The V60 Plug-in can travel 50 km on electric power alone at zero emissions, but total autonomy, and with the support of the 5-cylinder 2.4 diesel, comes to 1,200 km.
With regard to emissions of carbon dioxide of 49 grams per km, with an average consumption of 1.9 liters per 100 km.
This car also is a remarkably safe, in fact, if the road is dangerous to activate the four wheel drive, front wheel torque from the diesel engine and electric rear axle.
Quiet, comfortable, safe, non-polluting, this car will go on sale from November of 2012 and obviously still do not know the price.
